I work in technology for a K-12 school district. It's the kind of role where no two days look the same. What I like most is finding where the friction is and making it go away.

I have an 11-year-old who keeps life interesting. Between work and parenting, there isn't a lot of spare time, but I try to spend what there is on projects that teach me something.

This site is one of those projects. I'm building it from scratch on a VPS — setting up the server, writing the code, figuring out all the pieces. Partly to have a place to put things, partly because building something from nothing has its own kind of satisfaction.

I won't be impressive here. Just honest about what I'm working on and what I'm learning. If any of it helps someone else, that's a bonus.
